Patrick Steward without doubt for me. The man is a legend. He can play just about every role imaginable regardless of whether the show/play is set during the 11 century or the 24th century. How many actors can switch from quoting Shakespear to quoting star trek techno bable in the space of a second.
He is just brilliant and whats more he is English!
