Britney Spears Back on Stage
Britney Spears fans received a message from the queen of pop herself on Spears’ website. Britney reported that she is now “in a brighter state” and she proved this on Saturday by getting out on the stage at the House of Blues Orlando, and then doing it again at the House of Blues Miami on Sunday.
Britney Spears thanked her fans via her website, and said that she had been inspired by the care and concern of her fans, and that their prayers and support had helped her through a difficult time. She explained “We are all lights of the world and we all need to continuously inspire others and look to the higher power. You are all in my prayers. Godspeed. Love, Britney.”
Britney’s fans show no sign of decreased loyalty and the star has already performed sold out shows at the House of Blues venues in San Diego, Anaheim, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
The San Diego show was a fantastic 16 minute set, and full of excited screams from fans who had quickly secured tickets to the sold out show after learning that the announced band THE M+M’S, was in fact a cover name for Britney and her troupe of show dancers. Tickets that had been retailing for $35 skyrocketed; and $300 was the going price for a ticket on the day of the show.
The sultry singer bounced on stage in a brunette wig and wore a black headband, a pink top and very sexy white knee high boots; and the princess of pop delighted fans with a set that included Baby One More Time and other fan favorites. Britney Spears performed with a troupe of 5 blond dancers backing her.
Fans are rejoicing that Britney Spears has once again emerged onto the stage - it had been three long years since her last shows. Spears seems determined to show the world that life goes on and so does the pop queen; these are the first on stage performances of Britney since her marriage and divorce to Federline.
Britney Spears is back and fans love it!
