Britney Spears Leaves Rehab
Britney Spears left Promises rehab center Thursday. Only, this time it was an excused absence; Britney was on her way to her first AA meeting.
Britney met the waiting reporters with a smile on her face. This was a much different Britney that the one the public has seen recently. She looked much better than in previous photos. The twinkle was back in her eye. She wore a brown wig underneath a paper boy hat. Britney was escorted by her personal assistant. This Britney was reminiscent to the Britney the public fell in love with.
The only weird thing noticed about Britney was the writing on her hands. Britney had written several strange words and symbols on the top of left hand.
Patients at Promises are required to attend regular AA meetings. AA (Alcoholic’s Anonymous) is a twelve step program to help alcoholics sober up and then stay sober. It is a lifetime commitment. AA members are encouraged to take one moment at a time. As part of the program, members have to make a list of everyone they have wronged. They must then seek forgiveness from everyone on their list.
Britney’s friend and ex fellow partier, Lindsay Lohan, is also attending AA. Lohan has been seen proudly wearing her 90 days sober pin. Let’s hope that Lohan and Britney support each other once they are reunited.
And, it looked like Britney was wearing her wedding ring. It is said that Britney’s estranged husband, Kevin Federline, has been a big supporter to Britney during her stay at Promises. It has also been reported that Federline is seeking a reconciliation. This could be just the thing that Britney needs to give her a boost of confidence. If it is her wedding ring that she is wearing; lets all hope that this time, the two make it work.
