Britney Spears, Say What?
Britney Spears has been silent to the press since her release from rehab., but she broke her silence over the weekend. Her words have people asking, “say what?”. It is not very clear what her intentions were, but her words have some people wondering on what she was spaced out on. Her fans are trying to figure out if she was calling them stupid.
Things started out as usual, with Britney going about her weekend with the paparazzi not far behind. Photographers say she wore several different outfits and wigs. It was while being followed by paparazzi that Britney finally broke down and sent a message to the world.
Just what was she trying to convey in her message? Well, Fresh Dames readers, let’s see if you can figure this out. Britney is quoted as saying, “I just want to say that um, I’m just really, really shocked at like how nice our world is because it’s just so nice. Like oh my God! Like, the other day, like I was sitting there and I saw these magazines and they said I was pregnant, and like, it’s so true. Like America, believe everything you read. Because, like, you’re smart and I’m stupid. Like for real. Come on y’all.”
She then invited a camera man from the X-17 Photo Agency to come inside a tanning salon with her. Once inside, she continued her valley girl styled rant on the news media and the “stupid” people who believe the media. “Also, on the USA Today, cause always believe everything you read, it said that you know, like, I was drinking all the time. And like, it was so right. It was so true. I mean, oh my God, it was so right,” said Britney.
In essence, Britney Spears just told reporters that it’s true: that she is drinking and pregnant? Hmm! Who is she calling stupid?
