Brooke Shields Having Foot Surgery To Correct Broadway Injury
Brooke Shields has been in the spotlight since she was a tiny child star, having starred in movies, television and on Broadway. Her Broadway credits include “Chicago,” “Wonderful Town,” “Grease” and “Cabaret.” During one of her runs on Broadway the actress sustained an injury, and is now having surgery to repair the tendon.
The theater saying “Break a leg” may hit a little too close to home for Shields, 42, who will undergo surgery to correct the chronic foot injury. It will be the second surgery on her foot.
Shields, who now stars in “Lipstick Jungle” will have the surgery while the show is on hiatus.
