Celebrity Chef Giada De Laurentiis Welcomes Baby Girl
Celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis has made a new creation. Not a new recipe, but a baby instead. Laurentiis gave birth Saturday to a healthy baby girl named Jade Marie De Laurentiis.
The baby is the daughter of De Laurentiis and husband Todd Thompson. She weighed in at 5 lbs, 13oz.
The baby is the first for the Food Network star and “Today” show contributor and her husband. De Laurentiis, 37, married Thompson, 44, a clothing designer in 2003.
De Laurentiis said last November that she was shocked when she found out she was pregnant. By February the chef was having cravings for steak and said she was excited about the pregnancy and couldn’t wait to meet her daughter.
