Cousin Confirms Jamie Lynn Spears Engagement

Jamie Lynn Spears is really engaged to Casey Aldrirge, his cousin confirms. After reports surface claiming the pregnant 16-year-old actress is showing off a new engagement ring hinting that she is about to get married to her baby daddy, Aldridge’s cousin Tina Robinson verifies a wedding ceremony is in the works.

Robinson tells Us Weekly magazine, “He proposed a few days ago, and she accepted.”

She admits that she hasn’t seen Jamie Lynn’s ring yet. She’s also not sure whether Britney’s little sister and her 18-year-old cousin would tie the knot before they become parents this summer.

She says, “They probably weren’t expecting [the proposal] to be, like, right now, but with her being pregnant, that really pushed it up.”

Nickelodeon star Jamie Lynn had announced her pregnancy in December.
