Halle Berry Pregnant at 41

Halle Berry and Canadian model Gabriel Aubry are expecting their first child in about six months, the actress admitted on ‘Access Hollywood’ September 4.

The actress was quoted as saying in an e-mail to Access Hollywood, “Yes, I am three months pregnant. Gabriel and I are beyond excited and I’ve waited a long time for this moment in life. Now, the next few months will be the longest of my life!”

Halle Berry’s interest in show business was sparked when she entered several beauty pageants throughout her teens and even entered the Miss. U.S.A. in 1986 and eventually went into modeling. Berry appeared on the television show ‘Living Dolls’ and ‘Knots Landing.’ Her first big break came when she appeared in Spike Lee’s ‘Jungle Fever’ on the big screen.

Halle Berry’s other movies were critically wishy-washy yet she won an Oscar in 2001 for Monster Ball, a romantic drama also staring Sean Combs (a.k.a. P. Diddy) and Billy Bob Thornton.

Berry appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show last year and told Oprah that she was desperate to have a child by the she turned 40 and that if there was no serious man in her life, whoever she is dating at the time will be asked if he wants a child.

Berry was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 14, 1968. Her boyfriend Gabriel Aubrey was born in Montreal, Canada on January 4, 1976 and is a super model for Hugo Boss and Tommy Hilfiger. He had earlier stints with Calvin Klein, Versace, and Exte. He achieved supermodel status when he was featured exclusively in a Hugo Boss ad campaigns.

The two met when they were shooting a Versace ad in Los Angeles in November, 2005 and first went out publicly February, 2006 at the opening of a Versace boutique in New York City.

Halle Berry has been married twice and said she had no plans to tie the knot again.
