Heidi Klum says she’s just a normal Girl
Heidi Klum is used to wearing the best clothes as she is one of the most popular models. But now, she says that being super glamorous doesn’t fit into her daily life. “For me it’s about being comfortable and not getting too much into trends,” Heidi says. “I don’t like going too crazy like full on from the runway head to toe. I love to do it when I shoot for fashion magazines or when I go down the runway but in normal life, I like to be more normal.”
Heidi Klum was born in Germany. Her career as a model came about almost by accident when she submitted photos to a modeling competition and won. Soon she moved to the United States to pursue modeling and signed on with Victoria’s Secret. She then made the cover of the Sports Illustrated annual Swimsuit Issue in 1998. Because of that it ranked her as one of the world’s top models. Klum went on to make her own signature lines of sandals, jewelry and perfume.
Klum is married to singer Seal, and has two children, Henry 22 months and Johan 8 months with him. She also has a daughter, Leni, aged 3 with a boyfriend from a previous relationship.
Klum says she has issues with fitness. She says she feels pressure when it comes to losing weight and fitting into the right fashion wear for her. Klum says though starving herself never did any good.
“The more I tried dieting, the worse it was,” Klum admits. “I’d think about food more than ever. They’d say, ‘You have to lose weight’, and I’d be like, ‘All I can think about is muffins.’”
In the autumn of 2007 Heidi Klum will be fronting a new cosmetic line, In an Instant. She will be cooperating with Gunthy-Renker Company to promote this new cosmetic range. Gunthy-Renker owns a number of popular ranges of products like Proactiv and Winsor Pilates.
