Spears’ Ex, K-Fed Looking Like the Good Guy
K-Fed is coming out looking like the good guy thanks to Britney’s wild behavior. Just a few short months ago, Britney’s estranged husband was looking like a complete fool. His singing debut failed, and it was rumored that he was cheating on Britney. Not only was he cheating on her, but he was using her money to fly to Vegas and meet women.
After Britney filed for divorce, K-Fed immediately filed for custody of their two children, Sean Preston, 18 months, and Jayden James, 6 months. At the time it seemed a ridiculous idea that he would get custody. The media painted a picture of Britney’s ex as a gold digger trying to use their two boys as a means of gaining his financial security.
Then Britney started partying. Immediately, everyone started to ask the obvious question: Who was taking care of the children? Britney’s track record as a mom wasn’t the greatest: she drove her car down the street with Sean Preston sitting in her lap; he fell out of his high chair onto his head; and she almost dropped Jayden James while attempting to escape the paparazzi.
Now K-Fed has custody of the children while their mom is in Promises rehab facility. Reports are saying that it was K-Fed who got Britney to go back to Promises and, this time, stay for the full course of treatment. It is being said that K-Fed used their children as a way to convince Britney to get help.
K-Fed has even visited Britney in Promises. Friends of the couple say that K-Fed still loves Britney and wants her back. They say that he is sorry for the sorrow he caused her and wants to make it up. Last weekend, K-Fed and the two boys visited with Britney for over two hours.
Sources say that K-Fed really does want Britney to have custody of their two children because he knows that Britney’s a good mother. One thing is for sure, all of the positive media attention being poured over K-Fed is sure to help his career.
