Mariah Carey And Nick Cannon Step Out In New York

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon made their first public appearance since tying the knot, turning up Thursday night in New York. The couple attended Time magazine’s “100 Most Influential People in the World” gala.

Carey, wearing a silver minidress, sang at the party which was held at New York City’s Lincoln Center. Afterwards, according to People.com, she slipped into a strapless black dress accessorized with her 17-carat wedding ring and then headed to hotspot The Waverly Inn. Her new tattoo, which reads “Mrs. Cannon” and is located on the small of her back, was never seen.

Carey and Cannon surprised friends and family on April 30 with a Caribbean wedding, and honeymooned in the Bahamas after. The couple dated less than two months before getting married.
