No Divorce Yet For Singer Amy Winehouse And Husband

For the time being, Amy Winehouse is standing by her man. That isn’t stopping the divorce rumors from circulating about Winehouse and her incarcerated husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

According to People.com, the couple has not made a decision about getting divorced. Rumors continue to circulate that both sides are cheating, however. Winehouse met Fielder-Civil, a part-time gofer on video sets, at a London bar in 2003. The couple got married in Miami in May 2007.

Winehouse has other things on her mind right now, including the fact that the 24-year-old singer spent Friday night at London’s Holborn police station after being found unfit for questioning. She was released Saturday morning, after being examined by a doctor. She was arrested and issued a formal caution for common assault in reference to a head butting incident at a bar earlier in the week.

According to People.com, on Sunday, Winehouse’s father Mitch told the U.K.’s News of the World that he wanted the Grammy-winner locked up in a mental hospital for her own protection.

“I want her sectioned,” he said. “The situation is getting out of control. I want her off the street.”
