Pamela Anderson Giving Third Marriage a Chance
Tuesday, December 18, 2007
Pamela Anderson’s complicated love life is still…well, complicated after stating she was suing for divorce from her October marriage to her third husband, Rick Salomon on the ground of irreconcilable differences—then changing her mind. She filed for dissolution of marriage December 14th, after two months of marriage, according to E! Online.
Anderson had a change of heart and said the couple were working things out and trying to make the relationship stick.
The couple entered into their union October 6 at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas.
Anderson, 40, was previously wed to Kid Rock and Tommy Lee. Salomon, 39, was married to Shannen Doherty for a few minutes (the union was annulled) and to voice actress Elizabeth Daily.
In an extremely up-front confession on the Ellen DeGeneres show in September, Anderson stated she was taking a gamble on a new man after falling for Salomon in an ‘unconventional’ manner.
“I paid off a poker debt with sexual favors and I fell in love. It’s so romantic. Its romance,” she said at the time. Well, you can’t fault her for not being honest!
It was shortly after that episode that the obtained a marriage license in Las Vegas and went on to wed in a ceremony conducted in between Anderson’s nightly appearance as a magician Hans Kick’s assistant.
Anderson wrote on her website, “Rick and I are truly grateful,” she said and described Salomon, known for his sex-tape encounter with Paris Hilton, as a friend for 15 years.
Shortly before the divorce filings, she wrote a blog entry on her Website titled, “Can’t leave the beach,” and said she recently turned down a ‘Huge offer’ to do a big Vegas production in favor of staying home in Malibu with her two sons by Lee, 11-year-old Brandon and 9-year-old Dylan.
Anderson said committing to Vegas, which can include 8-10 shows a week, wasn’t going to work for her and her family stating she never made decisions based on money and wasn’t about to start now.
Anderson stated earlier this month that she wanted to retire to her native Canada in five years and is committed to doing a few upcoming stage appearances in Europe soon to ‘Fulfill the exhibitionist in me.’
