Britney Spears is in the news again and no, it is not good… as usual. Britney lost an attorney and her manager dumped her and topping that, her former bodyguard dumped some real dirt on her at the custody hearing. Britney’s ex-husband Kevin Federline is suing Britney for full custody of their children.
Tony Barretto, Spears’ ex bodyguard, (who was fired by Britney) turns out to be the secret witness in the custody suit. He was not cross examined by Spear’s attorney when Barretto testified that he witnessed Britney’s alleged drug use, walking around nude in front of her children and other child safety issues.
According to a letter obtained by E! News, Spears’ behavior led Barretto to seriously doubt Spear’s ability to be a good mother to her children. Then again, one needs to wonder if this is nothing more than sour grapes.
The 28-year-old Barretto resided full time at the Spears’ home from March to May 17. According Barretto, he was fired because he did not hear her when she asked him to pick up her hat.
Barretto states that he was reluctant to come forward. He did so only out of concern for the children as he is a father too.
Spears is now being represented by Melvin Goldsman. Her ex attorney, Laura Wasser butted heads with her over strategy. Her management company headed by Jeff Kwatinetz dropped Britney like a hot potato after representing her for only one month. This move comes one week after her Video Music Awards fiasco. The management company reportedly also had problems with her decision making.
Britney Spears needs to get her head together and let the people she hired like lawyers and managers do the job they were hired to do. Handling things by herself has never worked.
