Taylor Swift Star Struck Over Meeting John Mayer

Taylor Swift may be a country superstar in the making, but that doesn’t mean the 18-year-old can’t get star struck. Swift quickly admits she was totally star struck when she met musician John Mayer, who is one of her heroes.

According to People.com, Swift met Mayer at the Metropolitan Costume Institute Gala earlier this week. The young singer said Mayer came up to her and introduced himself and, like a typical teenager, she said, “I was like freaking out!”

Swift said she respects Mayer and is a fan of his writing so when she met him she started quoting things he had written on his blog. She laughed and said, “he was probably like thinking that I’m a stalker. But he was amazing and sweet.”
