Dita Von Teese Talks About Life with Manson
Dita Von Teese says that she knew that it was no surprise that her soon to be ex-husband, Marilyn Manson, was cheating on her.
Dita Von Teese recently spoke to reporters about her relationship with Manson and comments he made in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine. She said, “I get the impression he thinks I was unsupportive. But the truth is I wasn’t supportive of his lifestyle, and someone else came along who was.”
Manson, age 38, is currently dating nineteen year old actress Evan Rachel Wood. She stars in Mansion’s upcoming horror movie, “Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll”.
Dita claims that her relationship with Manson went downhill soon after they were married in Ireland. She claims she started working a lot to escape her home life. She filed for divorce only a year after they were married.
She goes on to say that, as much as she loves Manson, she came to realize that he needs help for his addictions. Says Dita, “It was difficult, because I was trying to get him help for his problems, and eventually I realized that he didn’t want help. I wasn’t supportive about his partying or his relationship with another girl and as much as I loved him I wasn’t going to be part of that.”
She made up her mind to leave, and she did. She left empty handed on Christmas Eve, “I left with nothing. I knew that there was an inappropriate relationship going on in [the home], and I didn’t want any part of it around to remind me. I didn’t want that sofa. I didn’t want that bed.”
However hard her relationship was with Manson, Dita is not giving up on love. She has recently started dating and her friends are busy setting her up on blind dates.
