Denise Richards once fired her nanny after she criticized her children’s father.

Despite her bitter divorce and custody battle with Charlie Sheen, Denise insists that no one is allowed to speak critically of him when their two daughters, Sam, three, and two-year-old Lola are around.

She said: “I actually fired a nanny once, for bashing Charlie in front of the girls. Charlie is their dad, so if I insult their father it’s an insult to them. I don’t want them ever to feel torn between the two of us.”

The ‘Wild Things’ actress - who has two daughters, four-year-old Sam and two-year-old Lola, with ex-husband Charlie Sheen - fears her girls will become paranoid about their figures in the future if they hear her discuss her weight worries.

She said: “I’ll never talk about weight around my girls. And they’ll never hear me say, ‘Mommy’s feeling fat today.’ That kind of attitude just makes young girls grow up to be dissatisfied with their bodies.”

Denise Richards is in a no-win situation with her new reality show. The “Wild Things” actress says whether she puts her children on her show or not, people would still think the worst of her.

Denise Richards has officially dropped the Sheen off her last name. Richards won a judgment on Friday which allowed her to legally change her surname back to Richards. The actress took the name when she wed Sheen back in 2002.

Richards’ bitter divorce to actor Charlie Sheen was finalized in 2006. The couple has since been involved in a nasty custody battle over their two daughters, three-year-old Sam and two-year-old Lola.

Actress Denise Richards is being sued by two paparazzi following an incident in which she threw their lap top computers over a hotel balcony.

The incident happened during the filming of the movie, Blonde & Blonder. Richards stars in the film opposite Pamela Anderson. Anderson says that the paparazzi had been ruthless during the filming.
