Rapper Foxy Brown returned to court in New York on Thursday (17Jan07) to determine if she needs medical treatment for an ear condition. Brown - real name Inga Marchand - is currently serving a year behind bars for violating her probation after a string of altercations. She is not due for release from New York’s Riker’s Island prison until September (08), but wrote to Judge Melissa Jackson on Tuesday 15Jan07), claiming she is in danger of losing her hearing if she is not treated by a specialist in California. Foxy Brown Sent to Solitary Confinement

Jailed rapper Foxy Brown has been ordered to spend 11 weeks in solitary confinement after she traded blows with a fellow inmate.

The 28-year-old star is serving one year in jail for violating her probation. She was on probation for another fight, this time in a New York nail salon.

Now, she faces 23 hours a day in solitary confinement for the next 11 weeks after her latest brawl. It is alleged that she has also refused to take a drug test and has been abusive to guards while in prison.

Foxy Brown Refuses to go to Her Arraignment

Foxy Brown, the ‘diva’ of Riker’s Island, the jail she is serving time for battery has refused twice to get on the bus from Riker’s to go to her own arraignment.

She was punished right?  Wrong, they simply postponed her arraignment until October 16. No punishment for twice refusing to get on the bus. However, sources say if she again refuses, she will be handcuffed on the bus and she will be at her arraignment.

Foxy Brown Headed to Jail

Criminal Court Judge Melissa Jackson of New York City sentenced a pregnant Foxy Brown to one year in jail for a 2004 assault on manicurists at a nail salon and for a number of other probation violations September 7. Brown has been on probation since the 2004 incident.

”I’m not going to give you any more chances. I hope you turn your life around and never again have to stand in a court of law,” said Jackson.

Foxy Brown Charged with Lying to Police

Foxy Brown is in trouble again. Brown is accused of lying to police during a traffic stop. Brown was driving a sport utility vehicle last week when she was stopped for talking on her cell phone and going through a stop sign in Mahwah, N.J.

When the police checked Brown’s SUV she was driving, it showed the registration had been suspended. The 27-year-old rapper gave the police a variation of her real name, which is Inga Marchand. She also gave the wrong date of birth.
