Teen Choice Winners
The Notebook, swept up a total of eight surfborads at the 2005 Teen
Choice Awards, which aired Tuesday, August 16th. The love story based on
a novel by Nicholas Sparks by the same name, is apparently what teens want
to see in a movie. Stars Ryan Gosling and Rachel
McAdams took home Best Actor and Actress honors
in the big-screen drama category and also captured prizes for Best Chemistry, Best Liplock and Best
Love Scene for their passionate rain-drenched smooch. Gosling also won Best Male Breakout Performance.
The Notebook was further honored as Best Date flick and Best Drama.
Hosts for this year's Teen Choice Awards were Hilary
Duff and Rob Schneider
and the show was broadcast by Fox.
Lindsay Lohan took home four honors in 2004 but didn't receive a single
surfborad for 2005. However, with the release of Herbie Fully Loaded, an
upcoming second album and more movies slated for release in the next year,
Lindsay Lohan will be back on the Teen Choice Awards stage in 2006.
